Who thought the abort function could be so comical?

I’m spending some of this afternoon catching up on reading bookmarks that have been in my reading list for a while. One of those articles is entitled “Every programmer should read the source code to abort() at some point in their life.” Even new programmers are aware of abnormal program termination if only through an exception that causes their program to come tumbling down. However, until now I had not read the code behind the abort() function.

Check out “Every programmer should read the source code to abort() at some point in their life” by raldi. It’s worth at least a quick read.
